The Bitterroot River is one of Montana's blue ribbon trout streams.  Catch Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Brook Trout and Cutthroat Trout.  We accommodate a maximum of two people per raft per day. Trips are calculated on a per raft basis at a cost of $265 per day.

Rainbow Trout

These attractive game fish strike aggressively, fight valiantly and are an angler's joy.

Recommended flies

The Bitterroot is noted for such hatches as the Skwala stone-fly hatch and the mayfly hatches throughout the season.

June brings the giant stonefly to the.

July is when the river really starts to produce some great hatches. The Golden Stones are around and also the Green Drake and the Brown Drake, they can show up in late June or early July depending on the weather. Pale Morning Duns, Various Caddis Flies and the Grey Drake round out the month.
